On 19 June 2025, PT Southeast Asia Pipe Industries (SEAPI) welcomed a delegation from two national strategic partners: PT. Pertamina Gas (Pertagas), a subsidiary of PGN, and PT. Bumi Siak Pusako Zapin (BSPZ), a regional energy company focused on upstream oil and gas.
This visit marked a concrete step toward deepening collaboration within Indonesia’s energy and infrastructure ecosystem.
Production Facility Tour and Technical Discussion
The Pertagas and BSPZ teams toured SEAPI’s steel pipe production plant, observing key processes:
- Forming using Three Roll Bending technology
- LSAW (Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welding)
- HSAW (Helical Submerged Arc Welding)
- Quality control and product performance testing
Following the tour, both parties held an in-depth technical discussion on product specifications, quality assurance standards, and potential applications of SEAPI steel pipes in national energy projects.
Collaboration as the Key to Industry Independence
During this meeting, SEAPI, Pertagas, and BSPZ explored long-term synergy opportunities, including:
- Optimizing efficiency in national energy projects
- Strengthening the domestic supply chain
- Reducing dependence on imported products
